I love being in nature. It is one of the reasons why I’m so happy to live in Cape Town – you are always an hours drive away from natural beauty, and nothing compares to getting out of the bustling city and finding your own little piece of heaven as you spend a few days relaxing in the wild.
When Lise contacted me about a location family photo shoot, I was looking forward to a great venue, but I wasn’t expecting to get blown away by such jaw-dropping natural beauty. Nestled in the Robertson mountain range, the Die Laaitjie cottage was sublime – complete with a vintage Victorian look and filled with antique furniture and decorations.
Added to this, Lise’s parents were due to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, making it an obviously special time together.
Thank you Lise and family for such a lovely afternoon with you all, it was a real pleasure.
